To provide the stock condition analysis service we offer we have designed a bespoke software system.
The system works at two levels:
Element Level contains only the primary items, and will report on overall costs and condition with a relevant degree of accuracy to allow replacement programmes and budgets to be planned.
Component Level provides greater depth of detail on individual parts of the property. This provides a greater degree of accuracy to costs and condition, and will allow a more detailed planned programme. This will require additional on site survey work to complete.
The System:
- Estimates the current budget requirements for the maintenance of the housing stock
- Estimates the future budget requirements for the maintenance of the housing stock over the short and long term (1-30 years).
- Identifies the addresses of all properties in planned programmes.
- Provides a “what if” method of looking at various budgeting permutations
- Offers a method of targeting the properties most in need of work, defined by poor condition.
- Maintains data which can be updated and expanded so that it does not go out of date.
- Provides a cost base calibrated to the client’s actual costs, which can be annually updated.
- Exports data, addresses and reports in Excel, Access and Word formats.
