An essential part of developing an energy policy is assessing information on the energy efficiency of the stock as it is now, and where it might be after carrying out improvements.

As a first stage we can use NHER Level0 with additional data for every dwelling in the stock. Virtually all this information is available within the office from existing records.

This is sufficient to allow a full stock profile analysis. All of this information can be held in the UNO bespoke database.

The effect of carrying out insulation and heating improvements can be assessed using the database.

Performance indicators for Best value can easily be worked out at the end of the year, and planned improvements monitored.

The NHER Level0 assessment will reveal dwellings that are potential problems. These dwellings can then be investigated in more detail.
