The Energy Audit Company was established by a consortium of professionals in energy efficiency, building, and stock condition work.

EAC provides consultancy services in the fields of Energy efficiency, Stock condition surveys, sustainable design, EcoHomes Part L Building Regulations compliance checks for domestic and non-domestic buildings, as well as research projects within the housing sector.

Clients have included over 50 local authorities, three of the largest housing associations, insulation and heating suppliers and a large number of architectural and surveying practices.
